Steve Strickland began working at Northstar Engineering in 1999. He made partner in 2018. Over the past 23 years, he has been instrumental in Northstar Engineering’s success. As a professional land surveyor, his experience includes: construction stakeout, boundary surveys, topographical surveys, foundation surveys, record surveys, subdivisions, ALTA surveys and flood elevation certificates.

He decided to work at Northstar because it is a smaller firm and he feels his own merits and actions are noticed and appreciated. “I feel blessed to work in an environment with such camaraderie and conviction to family values and work ethics,” Steve says.

Steve has been married to his wife Kim since 1996. He has served as the Director of the Wiregrass Chapter of the Alabama Society of Professional Land Surveyors and is currently the President Elect of the Society. In his spare time, he enjoys family vacations, spending time with grandchildren, woodworking,  history, reading, movies  and experiencing new cuisines.
